Sound Waves in Life
Sound waves are all around us. It's in the music we listen to, the shows we watch, it even comes out of our very mouths! Sound waves are everywhere in our lives.
Microphones are one of the great examples of this. Your voice inputs sound waves then a diaphragm changes the sound waves into audio signal which then turns back into sound waves through a stereo.
Cell phones are another great example of this. When your're on the phone talking to someone when you talk into the speaker and when the other person hears you, you created a sound wave.
Hearing Aids also use sound waves. There are two types of hearing aids, Analog and Digital. Analog hearing aids convert sound waves into Electrical signals which are amplified. Digtal hearing aids Convert sound waves into numerical codes before being amplified.
You can actually see sound waves! Check out this video.
